PLAYGROUND & GARDEN

Our large playground is a favourite place for all of the children at PIPS. We have bikes, slides, sand and climbing structures. Children have an opportunity to develop their gross motor skills in this child friendly space. Classes of each age group go outside at the same time allowing children from different classes to make friends and to get to know the different teachers. This helps us to create a feeling of community within the school.

Our outdoor area also has a garden for children to become involved in planting and the care of plants. Teachers use this area to enhance science ideas related to units of inquiry, the idea of responsibility, working as a team, cause and effect etc.
