Conditions: In both cases, the two or three other children must also be studying in PIPS in Pre-Nursery and/or above levels when the privilege is exercised.

PAYMENT OF TUITION FEES

For new enrolments / old students registering for new term
Parents, accepting the space offered to their child, voluntarily agree to pay one month’s tuition fee to reserve the space.  This fee, if paid, will not be refunded or if not yet paid, will still be collected (or deducted from debenture refund) even if the parents choose to withdraw the child’s enrollment at PIPS before admission.

*Tuition fees are annual and distributed over 10 monthly installments.

For in-term students
Tuition fee is to be paid 2 weeks in advance (by the 15th of the preceding month). A 10% sur-charge per month will be levied for any debt outstanding for 30 days until the student's account is clear.

PIPS will invoice the parents directly. It is the responsibility of the parents to forward the invoice to their company if applicable and to ensure that the payment is made on time. Parents can choose to pay on a quarterly or half-yearly basis.

WITHDRAWAL & REDEMPTION OF DEBENTURE

Withdrawal notice
For the withdrawal of a student one FULL calendar month* advance notice in writing is required prior to the last date of a student's attendance. The parents are required to pay for their children's tuition fee up to the last month which the withdrawal notice serves.

*One full calendar month means from the first day of a month to the last day of that month. If the last day of study is not the last or the first day of a month, then withdrawal notice will need to be served more than 1 month in advance.

Immediate withdrawal
Full month is charged even if only part of the month has been attended. One month's tuition fee will be deducted from the debenture refund as payment in lieu of sufficient notice.

Redemption of debenture
To redeem the debenture, return the original Debenture Certificate to the School together with the Withdrawal notice. PIPS reserve the right to deduct any outstanding tuition fees or penalty for insufficient withdrawal notice from the debenture refund.

Lead time for debenture refund
Refund will take about one month, from the date of receipt of original certificate and clearance of outstanding payment, whichever is the later.

N.B. The above payment schedule is valid until the end of June 2009. There might be a 5-10% adjustment in the fees for the school year commencing September 2009. Any increase will be communicated to the parents once approval from the EDB is obtained.

NBB   In the event of an “enforced” school closure, payment collection remains unchanged.
