Class Levels We have four class levels at PIPS in order to cater to the developmental needs of each age group.
English Section The Mandarin teacher visits classrooms twice per week to give the children some exposure to Putonghua. Bilingual Section Our classes are Bilingual Mandarin/English from Playgroup through to Upper Kinders. A Mandarin and English teacher work collaboratively to expose the children equally to both languages. Music Children attend music class twice per week for 30 minutes. These music classes are conducted in English by our Music Specialist teacher. Physical Education Children spend 30 minutes a day in our large outdoor playground. This is a time for children to develop gross motor skills by running, jumping, riding bikes, sliding etc. In addition teachers conduct a 30 minute Physical Education class each week. Playgroup The playgroup allows young children an introduction to school life with the comfort of a familiar adult. Our qualified teacher provides age appropriate activities and facilitates learning and social play among the children. This is a great opportunity for children to socialize with peers and be a part of a group environment. More info...... |
